Heineken Distinction
Heineken has a clever visual point of distinction against their competitors’ beer taps.
Their beer may or may not be better than the gazillion others available, but the iced-over tap and the “Brewed Extra Cold” signage certainly promote it above the others.
Whether we offer products or services, run a business, or work for the boss, creating points of distinction and communicating them in a crowded marketplace is something that gives us an edge over the competition.

PS. The only downside to this kind of marketing is the risk a patron may get their tongue ice-glued to the tap, as Reece Levinson did, on a drunken night out. You can read that story here.
